Explore the true African wilderness that lies in the rugged, semi-arid valleys of Kidepo Valley National Park. It is Uganda’s second-largest and most remote Park, but the stunning beauty of this faultless wilderness is very impressive. The park has diverse wildlife and different bird species for the visiting birders. It contains a bird list of over 475 species. Also putting in mind the unique culture of the host community of the Karamajong with their unique architecture of “Manyatta”.
Day 1:Arrival & Transfer to Kitgum
Be picked up by our Safari guide in the morning who will brief you before heading out to Kitgum which is in the northern part of Uganda start your Kidepo Valley National Park safari. Hike to the top of Sipi falls. Get back on board and prepared for a long day in the car, but with a lot to see as you enjoy the Ugandan landscape passing by the windows during this day of transfer. Lunch en route, dinner, and overnight at Bomah Hotel Kitgum.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast drives northwards through Lira in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops, and Inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners.
On arrival in the park, you will check in, relax a bit, and have lunch. Later go for an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson's Hartebeest, Klipspringer, and possibly Lions.

Day 3: Kidepo National Park Morning Game Drive and Evening Karamajong Interaction
After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich and later returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenna and Kapendo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones, and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Nga’moru Wilderness Camp.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive -Transfer Back Through Gulu
After breakfast, have a morning game drive to search for Kidepo’s exclusive wildlife such as Ostriches, hartebeest, Roan antelopes, and many woodland birds. Have lunch and relax by the lodge. Later, travel through the remotest zones of Uganda, seeing the villages and grass thatched houses passing by the window. View the wild, domestic and Cultural richness of this pearl of Africa, experience quality Vegetation Spend the night in the town of Gulu. Dinner and overnight at Gulu Churchill courts.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala via Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, check out and embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala. You will have a stopover in Nakasongola at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which is a famous gateway for Rhino tacking to have a fell of the African big five. You will have lunch and later transfer back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Fairway hotel.
